Bengaluru, Nov 4: Condoling the death of former minister and Congress MLA H Y Meti, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today said that the release of his book ‘Neerina Hejje’ scheduled for today has been postponed.
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “H Y Meti’s health was unstable. I feel sad to hear his demise, my condolences with his family. In view of his demise, we have postponed the release of the book ‘Neerina Hejje’. Will finalize another date after consulting with the CM.”
“Meti was close to me. He came to the party along with Siddaramaiah and was with the party as an MLA and a minister. He was working currently working as the president of BTDA. May God give his family strength to deal with the loss,” he added.
