Bengaluru, May 16: A misappropriation complaint has been registered against Ravi Kumar, a nominated member of Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation on charges of large scale embezzlement.
Mahalakshmipuram police have registered a criminal complaint against Ravi Kumar for large scale misappropriation of funds by fabricating documents.
Director of the Bhovi Development Corporation Leelavathi has lodged a complaint against Ravi Kumar for gross misappropriation of funds. He has forged the signature of MD of the corporation to realise the cheques.
Leelavathi has urged members of public to refrain from giving money to any members of the corporation and lodge a complaint if anybody demands money in the name of the corporation.
Fake documents were created in the name of manging director of the corporation to make quick bucks. However, there is no provision for directors to sanction amy schemes.
Complaints are being received for fabricating documents to avail bemefits from the corporation, said Leelavathi.
