Commissioner directs officials to ensure quality in ongoing road works

The Commissioner of Bengaluru North City Corporation, Pommala Sunil Kumar, instructed officials to ensure that road works are completed with strict adherence to quality standards.

Early this morning at 6:00 a.m., the Commissioner inspected the ongoing road work at Aakruthi Prospera Layout in old Ward No. 08 of Byatarayanapura Division and issued necessary directions on-site.

During the inspection, the Commissioner instructed the engineers present to verify that proper camber has been provided during road construction. He also directed them to coordinate with BWSSB officials to raise manholes to road level.

Additionally, he emphasized that regular desilting of concrete drains must be carried out to ensure smooth water flow and to maintain the overall quality and durability of the roads.

Joint Commissioner Mohammed Naem Momin, Chief Engineer Ranganath, and the concerned Executive Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, and other staff members were present during the inspection.
