Bangalore, Dec. 27: James Cameron’s one of the most sensational movies Avatar – ‘The Way to Water’ has globally bagged a mind blowing Rs. 7000 crore.
The movie released on December 16 has become a super duper hit in box office and still roaring in the second week straight.
Interestingly, in India alone the move has entered the Rs. 300 club. In terms of earnings, the movie has surpassed bollywood movies Lal Singh Chadda, Vikram Veda. The Indian market witnessed Rs. 120 crore advance booking on the first day itself. Although the ticket prices have shot up to Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 3000 fans are thronging the theatres. Within three days of release the movie has bagged Rs. 100 crore.
Even after 10 years the Avenger has gripped the movie buffs and after Avengers Avatar – 2 would become a mega hit, feel cine experts.
The movie has been getting good feedback globally and is roaring in box office. This year only Top Gun and Jurassic Park Dominion movies have entered the 100 crore collar club and Avatar 2 has created history by globally earning 2.9 crore dollars.
