Bengaluru: The online counselling for the appointment of guest lecturers as applicable for the academic year 2021-22 will be held for 4 days beginning from Jan 27.
P.Pradeep, Commissioner, DCTE has stated in a statement, on Wednesday,10,636 guest lecturers will be appointed. Further, he has told, candidates can choose the college they would prefer during counselling based on their seniority.
After this, the candidates need to report for work in the instructed colleges within two days along with original documents. In cases of finding any variation in the documents, such candidates will be dropped, Commissioner informed.
For 47 subjects, 7,225 guest lecturers with full workload (15 hours/week) and 3,411 with partial workload will be appointed.
This includes 1,830 lecturers for Commerce, 1008 for Kannada, 675 for History, 736 for English, 526 for Sociology, 620 for Economics, 490 for Business Management, 910 for Computer Science, 562 for Physics, 602 for Political Science, 663 for Chemistry, 492 for Mathematics, 198 for Zoology, 212 for Botany, 54 for Psychology, 53 for Environmental Science, 80 for Social Work and 78 for Urdu, Commissioner has informed.
Saying, guest lecturers will be recruited based on seniority of their experience, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayna, Minister for Higher Education, asked all those who get appointed to join for work after counselling.
