Bengaluru: Vice-Chancellors of universities have been asked by ACS, Department of Higher Education, to consider postponing the semester examinations of degree courses by one month.
G.Kumar Naik, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Department of Higher Education, has stated in a press statement on wednesday, that he has asked the VCs to take decision regarding postponement of examinations since teaching of syllabi is yet to be competed.
The teaching could not be completed within the timeframe since classes had to closed in view of surge in CORONA 3rd wave and Omicron cases. Some of the universities had already announced schedule of semester examinations. But, The Commissioner, DCTE, had written a letter asking to postpone the examinations by a month in order to facilate students better prepare, he has told.
