Bangalore, Sep 25: On the auspicious occasion of the 50th year of Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Bharatithirtha Mahaswamiji’s sanyas, Vedanta Bharati and Shankar Tattvaprasara campaign under the name of Suvarnabharti, a state-wide campaign called Kalyanavrishti has been launched this year.
Sridhara Hegde, director of Vedanta Bharati says, in this campaign, three hymns namely Kalyanavrishtistava, Shivpanchakshara Nakshatramalastotra and Lakshminarasimhakarunarasastotra composed by Sri Shankarabhagavatpada are being recited for free.
He said that more than two lakh people have already practiced these hymns in thousands of study centers and educational institutions in Bangalore.
This Kalyanavrishtistava Mahabhiyan will be held in Bengaluru on October 26 at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru under the leadership of Sringeri Jagadguru. Shankarabharati Mahaswamiji, the head of Yadatore Yoganandeshwar Saraswati Mutt. Brahmananda Bharati said that the program will be held in the presence of Swamiji.
