Tumkur, June 1: Junior Engineer Varadaraju and Mechanic Grade-1 Narasimhamurthy, from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), have been suspended from service following an altercation at Pavagada.
According to a KPTCL release, the Superintending Engineer of the Tumkur Transmission Circle issued the suspension notice on May 31.
Additionally, notices have been issued to Junior Engineer Srinivasa and S.A Grade-2 Santosh, in connection with the incident.
The altercation occurred on May 23 during office hours on the outskirts of Pavagada town, prompting KPTCL to take immediate disciplinary action.
