People will slap Congress leaders through voting; Bommai
Hubballi;
Former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai urged the state government to disclose details of the NDRF funds received during the UPA and NDA regimes.
Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he said the state’s economic condition has become horrible due to which the state moved the Supreme Court. It was nothing but a political stunt. Instead of complaining about the non-receipt if funds from the central government, the Congress leaders must furnish details of the NDRF funds received from the UPA and NDA Governments.
Reacting to Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi statement that those who raise pro-Modi slogan must be slapped, the former CM said ” wait for sometime, people will slap the Congress party through voting. The situation in Karnataka has been conducive for the BJP due to Modi wave across the nation. Dissidence was being resolved and the sitting Koppal MP Karadi Sanganna was now satisfied”.
Celebrities come
Bommai said national leaders would come here for the poll campaign along with celebrities. The tour program of the national leaders would be finalized within two or three days. They would campaign in Dharwad and Gadag-Haveri constituencies. Former CM Yediyurappa and State BJP President B.Y.Vijendra would campaign in Haveri Lok Sabha constituency.
He said the BJP has become further strong with the re-entry of Gali Janardhan Reddy who can influence in three to four districts.
On Minister Santosh Lad’s statement that those who would join BJP would be purified, Bommai said Lad might have said this out of his experience.
