Bangalore, Dec. 29: If all goes as planned, air passengers can hop on to Namma Metro to beat traffic blues on busy airport road.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday assured that Metro services to the Kempegowda International Airport will made operational by the end of 2023.
Bommai informed the Legislative Council the work on the metro line has been sped up to comply with deadline.
Congress MLC K. Govindaraju alleged that metro work is going on at snail’s pace and affecting movement of vehicles too.

Hyderabad commenced after Bengaluru’s project was launched, it was completed at a quick pace.
Land acquisition and environment clearance to cut the trees were some hurdles, CM clarified.
