Pahalgam, Nov. 18: It was a fun and frolic day for students of AGPS, Pahalgam and AGSs of South Kashmir as various events were organised to celebrate Children’s Day.
AGPS Pahalgam celebrated Children’s Day, wherein Dr Mehnaaz Nadiadwala, a renowned film producer and a philanthropist graced the occasion and felicitated students of AGPS Pahalgam. To motivate meritorious students, she presented them high end laptop and tablet, along with certificates.
The felicitation ceremony was followed by cultural events from the students of the school and culminated with an inspiring speech by Dr Mehraaz Naidadwala.
Other AGSs also on the similar lines, organised special assembly sessions with various activities such as songs and cultural dance. The students were conveyed the message of humanity, self-respect and hard work.
Previous year she presented 10 laptops and this is her second year of visit to encourage and inspire students.
