Oz cricketer Andrew Symonds dies in accident

Bengaluru, May 15: Former Australian allrounder, Andrew Symonds, who was part of wo times world cup winning team died in a fatal car accident in Queensland.

46-year-old dashing and controversial cricketer was involved in an accident outside Townsville where he lived in retirement.

“Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Hervey Range, around 50 kilometres from Townsville that’s taken the life of a 46-year-old man last night, the reports said.

It is learnt that emergency services attempted to revive the 46-year-old former international cricketer but in vain.

The ugly fight between Symonds and Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is still reminiscent in the minds of cricket lovers.

Cricket Career:

Andrew Symonds played 26 Test, 198 ODIs and 14 T20s. He started his cricket career in 1998 and hung his bat in 2009.

Symonds was one of the best all time aggressive allrounder – a wonderful striker and medium pace and offspin plus one of the greatest fielders.
