Bengaluru, May 8: We have decided to strictly monitor and take measures to curb the production of spurious seeds, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating the World Bank aided national level REWARD project and the Watershed Centre of Excellence.
Strict monitoring is on to ensure standardisation of seeds, information on seed producing private companies, the manufacturing date, details of the mother seeds and information on quality of the seeds is being tracked, Bommai said.
