Party top brass will summon me to Delhi after that: CM Bommai
Bengaluru, April 18: BJP National President JP Nadda has said that he would hold a meeting in Delhi on cabinet expansion in Karnataka. He has asked me to come to Delhi after that. Whether it would be cabinet expansion or reshuffle would be decided there, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
Speaking to media persons Bommai replied to a slew of questions on cabinet expansion. “Nadda has said that he would convene a meeting in Delhi to discuss the issue. He will inform me about it and he asked me to come to Delhi after that,” Bommai said.
Hubballi incident
All those alleged to be involved in the incident have been arrested. The investigation is on and the leaders behind it would face legal action,” Bommai said.
Responding to questions on irregularities in the PSI selection exam, Bommai said, the Home minister has ordered a CID probe into the issue immediately on getting to know about the irregularities. A comprehensive investigation has been ordered to find out whether the irregularities had happened at any particular centres or at a larger scale. If it were to be a government of some other political party they would have tried to cover it up. We have given a free hand to CID. We will take action against those involved, whoever it is,” Bommai said.
When asked about demand from the candidates for a re-exam, Bommai said, “it would be decided after getting the comprehensive probe report.”
