The much awaited Embassy Manyata flyover will be thrown open to public use, benefitting largely the Manyata Tech Park and residents towards it, on Tuesday evening by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
The 900-metre long flyover with two access ramps to Manyata Tech Park was fully sponsored by Manyata Tech park promoters.
The elevated corridor integrated with two existing flyovers off Nagawara and Veerannapalya, was built at a whopping cost of Rs 183 crore.
Following the complaint from residents of Veeerannapalya and Nagawara including Shiva Rajkumar, popular Kannada film star in June, objecting to the design of the flyover, certain changes and additions were proposed.

BBMP asked them to build a ramp on each side of the flyover to help ease traffic congestion locally.
The BBMP allegedly threatened that the project is unlikely to get a completion certificate unless it agrees to fulfill these terms.
After all these developments, the flyover is all set to be inaugurated. The project helps scores of people using this stretch of road.
