BBMP gets 12 ‘E-Sanjeevini’ electric two wheelers

In an attempt to increase the mobility of staff of BBMP’s primary health centres (East zone) and to increase the mobile medical services, Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas, Rotary H.S.R. and iValue infoSolutions pvt. ltd, donated 12 ‘E-Sanjeevini’ electric two wheelers on Friday.
Earlier, as a pilot project, the Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas had donated 2 ‘E-Sanjeevini’ electric two wheelers to Urban Primary Health Center in Sanjayanagar ward. After finding the project successful, Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas has donated an additional 12 electric two wheelers to Urban Primary Health Centers in East zone.
Addressing the event, Hebbal constituency MLA Byrathi Suresh, said that, Rotary Bangalore Rajmahal Vilas has been extending helping hand to people and BBMP during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Today, it has extended its ‘e-sanjeevini’ project to the UPHCs. The social work of the organization is laudable.
BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta said that, the ‘e-sanjeevini’ project which was started in Sanjayanagar UPHC -in order to provide medical service to the needy in quick manner, now, has been extended to the UPHCs in Hebbal, Pulakeshinagar and Shivajinagar. Similar services will be extended to other zones too, he added.
‘e-sanjeevini’ vehicles helps UPHC personnel, NNM, Paramedical personnel and ASHA for Immunization, vaccination, special health camps, Nutrition programs, Anganawadi inspections, surveys and many such activities, the Mr. Gupta said.
