Illegal and unauthorised flex, banners and bunting within the BBMP jurisdiction are being removed in full swing, following the directions from the BBMP Chief
Commissioner Gaurav Gupta.
During the meeting, Mr. Gupta strictly directed all the zonal chief engineers to remove
illegal flex banners and bunting within the BBMP jurisdiction from Thursday.
Accordingly, the teams led by chief engineers in all 8 BBMP zones have taken up the removal of illegal flex banners and buntings. Flex banners fixed to roadside electric poles, the fencing of Rajakaluve are being removed with the help of men and tractor.
The flex banners and bunting removal drive was taken up at places like Marathahalli, Whitefield, Hoodi, HBR layout, Yelahanka, Thanisandra main road, Rajajinagar, HSR layout, Begur main road, Anjanapura, Jnanabharathi layout, Dasarahalli.
More than 1,200 flex banners and bunting have been removed in the city, today. Also, it has been instructed to continue the drive against illegal flex banners and buntings.
