Investment Talks Held with Nothing, Fido AI and Rhodes Group
London: On the second day of his UK visit aimed at attracting investments to Karnataka, Large and Medium Industries Minister M. B. Patil held discussions on Tuesday with leading companies including Green Jets, Nothing, Fido AI, Rhodes Group and MBDA. He assured them that the State Government would extend full support to their proposed ventures.
At the meeting held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Green Jets — known for manufacturing drones, high-performance electric jets and ducted-fan propulsion systems for next-generation aircraft — expressed interest in setting up a manufacturing facility near Bengaluru. Patil said the State has assured the company of priority allotment of land for the project.
Senior officials from Fido AI conveyed that the company is seriously considering establishing a manufacturing unit in Karnataka. During discussions with Nothing — the design-focused smartphone manufacturer — the State requested the company to set up a production facility in Karnataka. In his interaction with Rhodes Group, a reputed name in advanced engineering, the Minister invited the company’s senior leadership to visit Karnataka at the earliest, he added.
Participants in these meetings included Anmol Manohar, CEO of Green Jets; Victoria Edwards, Co-Founder of Fido AI; Tamina, Global Strategy Director at Nothing; Mark Ridgway, CEO of Rhodes Group; and Tom Fell, Head of India Regional Operations at MBDA.
