Bengaluru, Nov 4: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today appealed to the people of Bihar to make Tejaswi Yadav the CM and bring change in Bihar.
Speaking to reporters after the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025 here, he said, “The people of Bihar are seeking change. Tejaswi Yadav will be able to bring that change in Bihar.”

Asked about his letter seeking three-day holiday for Biharis living in Bengaluru to vote in Bihar election, he said, “Voting is the first right in a democracy and hence I have written to companies to grant leave so that they can go and vote.”
Asked if he would arrange special trains to Bihar during elections, he said, “I don’t want to interfere in Union government’s jurisdiction. I am looking at getting them leave so that they can travel. The people of Bihar are hard working people and are contributing significantly to construction sector in Bengaluru. We have decided to give a site to the Bihar Association in Karnataka.”
