Bengaluru, Oct 13: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday empathised with the people of RR Nagar for their choice of MLA in Muniratnam Naidu and the ‘hellish’ conditions created by the MLA in the constituency.
“When we look at the attitude and behaviour of MLA Muniratnam Naidu, I understand you are living in hell. I can understand your frustration for electing an MLA like this,” the DCM said while participating in a public interaction as part of the ‘Bengaluru Nadige’ programme in JP Park of Mattikere in RR Nagara constituency.

Expressing unhappiness over obstruction of his public interaction programme by the followers of MLA Muniratnam Naidu, he said, “Muniratnam Naidu doesn’t have patience. It is his nature to obstruct others’ programmes. I know that you feel sad that you have chosen an MLA like this. Give him the right reply when the time comes.”
“The people must decide if they would like to retain an MLA like Muniratnam Naidu. I am not going to talk about it. I am aware of the respect that needs to be given to a people’s representative, but neither victory nor loss is permanent in politics,” he said.
