Bengaluru, June 27: All ongoing civil works under the medical education department across the state must be completed within the stipulated timeline. Officials must pay continuous attention to ensure this, directed Dr. Sharanaprakash Patil, minister for medical education, skill development, entrepreneurship, livelihood and Raichur district in-charge.

Chairing a review meeting with senior officials of the department at Vikas Soudha on Thursday, the minister gathered detailed information about all departmental projects. Through video conferencing, Dr. Patil reviewed comprehensive updates on the construction works of medical colleges, hospitals, hostels and other related infrastructure underway in each district of the state.
He inquired into the current status of each project, expected timelines for completion and stressed that all works must be completed on schedule. “Everyone must take responsibility to ensure timely completion,” he said.
Dr. Patil emphasized that the ongoing works must meet quality standards, with no lapses or defects. He instructed that proper reports on all projects be submitted and ensured that the works are completed within deadlines and inaugurated at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by the department’s principal secretary Mohammed Mohsin, Director of medical edutioan Dr. Sujatha Rathod BL and other officials.
