Bangalore, Oct. 18: In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Bharatithirtha Mahaswamiji, the great savior of Vedanta Bharati, a Kalyanavrishtistava Mahabhiyana will be held at the palace ground on 26th of this month. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar would grace the occasion.
The Vice President will unveil the book of Vedanta Bharati to the world on the same occasion, while Deputy Chief Minister and Chairman of the Reception Committee of the program D.K. Shivakumar, Union Minister Prahlada Joshi and V. Somanna and other dignitaries will participate in the program.

Kalyanavrishti Abhiyan has been launched for the propagation of Vedanta Bharati, Shankara’s philosophy under the auspices of Mythic Society titled Suvarna Bharati.
Three hymns composed by Sri Shankarabhagavatpada namely Kalyanavrishtistava, Shivapanchakshara, Nakshatramalastotra and Lakshminrisimhakarunarasastotra are being recited. Under the guidance of Shankarabharati Swamiji, the savior of Vedanta Bharati, these hymns have already been practiced by more than two lakh people in thousands of study centers and educational institutions in Bangalore.
This Kalyanavrishtistava Mahabhayan will be held on Saturday from 10.30 am to 1 pm at Krishna Vihara, Palace Grounds, in the auspicious presence of Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Vidhusekharabharathi Swamiji. In the presence of Shankarabharati Mahaswamiji, Brahmananda Bharati Swamiji of Yadatore Mutt, students, civic workers, disabled, senior citizens and reciters’ from different towns of the state will participate.
